Job Description
Are you passionate about coffee and eager to learn the art of being a barista? We are looking for enthusiastic Barista Trainees to join our vibrant team in Fremantle. No prior experience is required – we believe in nurturing talent from the ground up! You’ll receive comprehensive training from our experienced baristas, learning everything from coffee bean origins and different brewing methods to latte art and exceptional customer service. This is an incredible opportunity to start a rewarding career in the bustling café industry with a supportive and friendly team.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all barista training sessions.
- Learn to operate and maintain espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment.
- Master various coffee recipes and beverage preparation techniques.
- Practice and develop latte art skills.
- Provide outstanding customer service, taking orders accurately and serving with a smile.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and café area.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
