Job Description
Are you passionate about coffee and looking to start a career in the vibrant cafe industry? The Coffee Club in Esperance is seeking an enthusiastic Barista Trainee to join our dynamic team on a part-time day roster. No prior experience is required, as we are committed to providing comprehensive, on-the-job training to help you master the art of coffee making and customer service. This is an incredible opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, grow your skills, and become a valued member of a leading cafe brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all training modules related to coffee preparation, machine operation, and customer service.
- Learn to prepare a range of espresso-based coffees, teas, and other beverages to The Coffee Club standards.
- Assist with taking customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and helpful service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and dining areas.
- Learn cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system operations.
- Support senior baristas and team members with various tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and energetic team environment.
