Job Description
Are you looking for an entry-level opportunity to kickstart your career? Harvey Norman is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our delivery team as an Appliance Delivery Offsider. No prior experience is required – we’re looking for individuals with a can-do attitude, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn. As an Offsider, you will work as part of a two-person crew, assisting with the safe and efficient delivery and installation of a wide range of appliances to our valued customers across the Gold Coast. This role involves physical work, excellent teamwork, and direct customer interaction, ensuring every delivery is a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with the safe loading and unloading of appliances onto and off the delivery truck.
- Carefully transport appliances into customer homes or businesses, ensuring no damage to products or property.
- Assist with basic installation and setup of appliances as per training and company guidelines.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, answering basic questions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including manual handling techniques.
- Communicate effectively with your crew partner and dispatch team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle and equipment.
- Represent Harvey Norman in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Verify delivery paperwork and ensure accuracy of delivered items.
