Job Description
We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic All-Rounder to join the team at our popular regional pub and hotel in Wyong. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, has a can-do attitude, and is eager to contribute to all aspects of a thriving hospitality business. You will be instrumental in ensuring our guests have a memorable experience, whether they are dining, enjoying a drink, or staying in our accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service across all areas of the venue, including bar, bistro, and accommodation.
- Assist with food and beverage service, including taking orders, serving meals, and preparing drinks.
- Support front desk operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and handling inquiries for accommodation.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, including dining spaces, bar, and guest common areas.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties in accommodation rooms when required.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation and dishwashing during peak times.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Required Skills
- Proven customer service experience, ideally within hospitality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate for NSW.
- Basic computer literacy for POS systems and accommodation bookings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pub, hotel, or similar multi-faceted hospitality role.
- Basic food hygiene certificate.
- Ability to operate a coffee machine.
- Experience with accommodation management software.
