Job Description
Join the dedicated team at ISS Facility Services as an Aircraft Cabin Cleaner at the Echuca Aerodrome. This crucial role involves ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of aircraft cabins to the highest standards, ready for departure. You will be responsible for a thorough clean of various aircraft types, working efficiently and meticulously in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position offering stable work and competitive weekly pay for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and safety within the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of aircraft cabins, including galleys, lavatories, seats, floors, windows, and overhead compartments.
- Empty and replace waste bin liners, ensuring proper waste disposal procedures are followed.
- Restock in-flight supplies such as blankets, pillows, and seat-back materials.
- Sanitize all high-touch surfaces to meet strict health and safety regulations.
- Operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Report any observations of maintenance issues, damage, or missing items within the aircraft cabin.
- Adhere strictly to all airport security protocols, company policies, and aviation cleaning standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely turnaround of aircraft.
Required Skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive airport environment.
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 15kg), and carry cleaning equipment and supplies for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, particularly in an airport, hospitality, or similar high-standard environment.
- Possession of or the ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Echuca Aerodrome for various shift times.
