Job Description
Are you a hands-on individual looking for steady work with weekly pay? Bradnam’s Windows & Doors, a leader in the Australian building materials industry, is seeking a dedicated Window Shutter Labourer to join our team in Penrith, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is reliable, physically fit, and eager to contribute to a growing company. While previous experience in shutter installation or construction is a plus, we value a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn on the job.
As a Window Shutter Labourer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and finishing of our high-quality window shutter products. You will work alongside experienced technicians, learning best practices and contributing to the successful completion of projects across residential and commercial sites in the Penrith area.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment at job sites.
- Preparing installation sites, including minor demolition, cleaning, and material staging.
- Cutting, measuring, and fitting window shutter components according to specifications.
- Assisting with the installation of various types of window shutters (e.g., roller, plantation, security).
- Ensuring all installations meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Performing general labourer duties as required to support the team.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Adhering to company safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or a related trade.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Valid Australian driver's license.
