Job Description
Join The Good Guys as a key member of our White Goods Delivery team in Traralgon! We are seeking reliable and physically fit individuals to join our casual day roster, working in a 2-person crew. This role involves the safe and efficient delivery, installation (basic setup), and removal of white goods and other large appliances to customer homes and businesses. You’ll be the face of The Good Guys, ensuring a positive experience for every customer. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy active work, teamwork, and making a direct impact on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload white goods and other appliances.
- Perform basic installations (e.g., connecting washing machines, fridges) and ensure products are in working order.
- Remove old appliances for recycling or disposal as required.
- Navigate routes efficiently and adhere to delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service, including clear communication and professional conduct.
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic logs accurately.
- Work collaboratively with a crew member to ensure safe handling and efficient service.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and good working order of company vehicles.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License (Car or HR/MR desirable but not essential for second person crew).
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items repeatedly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to customer service.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or a physically demanding role.
- Experience with white goods handling or basic appliance installation.
- Knowledge of Traralgon and surrounding areas.
- Current First Aid certification.
