Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Signage Loader to join our team in Rockhampton. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to start a career without prior experience. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and movement of various signage materials, ensuring our campaigns are delivered on time. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload signage materials onto and from delivery vehicles and into storage areas.
- Organise and manage signage inventory in the warehouse, ensuring efficient space utilisation.
- Assist with the preparation of signage for dispatch, including packing and labelling.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., trolleys, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely project completion.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25kg).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift license (though not essential, training may be provided later).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual handling role (even if informal).
- Current valid Australian driver's license.
