Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Solutions Analyst with a strong focus on automation to join our dynamic supply chain team in Karratha. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in analyzing existing warehouse processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements, and supporting the implementation of cutting-edge solutions. You will work closely with operations, IT, and external vendors to optimize inventory management, material flow, and overall warehouse performance. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current warehouse operations and logistics processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for automation.
- Develop and propose innovative automation solutions, including robotics, IoT, and advanced warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, IT, engineering) to define requirements and specifications for new solutions.
- Support the implementation, testing, and go-live of automation projects, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented automation solutions, recommending further enhancements.
- Conduct data analysis to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and cost.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project status, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to warehouse personnel on new technologies and processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in warehouse automation and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies in all project activities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or supply chain analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse automation technologies (e.g., AS/RS, AGVs, robotics, WMS).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience with SAP or other major ERP/WMS systems.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Experience working in the mining or heavy industrial sector.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles.
