Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and emerging Creative Director (Assistant) to join our dynamic agency in Traralgon. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate individual with a strong portfolio and leadership potential to contribute to groundbreaking campaigns. You will work closely with senior creative leadership, mentor junior talent, and play a pivotal role in shaping creative strategy and execution across various media channels. Your ability to ideate, conceptualise, and articulate compelling creative visions will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Creative Director in developing and executing innovative campaign strategies.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and concept development for various client briefs.
- Oversee the creative development process from initial concept to final production, ensuring quality and brand consistency.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior creatives, fostering their professional growth.
- Present creative concepts and rationale to clients, effectively articulating ideas and responding to feedback.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to inform creative approaches.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with account management, strategy, and production teams.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in an advertising or creative agency environment, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and execution.
- Excellent conceptualisation and ideation skills.
- Proficiency in creative software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to inspire a team.
- Understanding of digital media, social platforms, and traditional advertising channels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with motion graphics, video production, or interactive design.
- A track record of winning industry awards or recognition for creative work.
- Experience in a client-facing role, managing expectations and building relationships.
