Job Description
Are you looking for a physically engaging role with excellent pay? Toll Group in Bathurst, NSW, is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Container Unloaders. This full-time manual labour position offers top Aussie pay rates and a chance to work in a dynamic logistics environment. You will be responsible for the efficient and safe unloading of various goods from shipping containers, ensuring they are ready for further processing or storage. This role is crucial to our operations and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities
- Manually unload a variety of goods and freight from shipping containers.
- Sort and stack goods accurately onto pallets or into designated areas.
- Operate manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks as required.
- Adhere strictly to all workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Report any damaged goods or safety hazards promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily unloading targets.
Required Skills
- Proven physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items repeatedly (up to 25kg).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehousing, logistics, or manual labour role.
- Current forklift license (LF or LO) is a plus, but not essential.
- Completion of WHS white card or similar safety training.
