Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Bus Cleaner to join our night shift team in Liverpool. This full-time position offers stable employment and is essential for ensuring our fleet of buses is clean, presentable, and hygienic for passengers. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of bus interiors and exteriors, working independently to meet our operational standards before the morning rush. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of bus interiors, including seats, floors, windows, and driver's cab.
- Empty and sanitize waste bins onboard buses.
- Clean and disinfect all high-touch surfaces, such as handrails, grab poles, and bell pushes.
- Wash bus exteriors using automated cleaning equipment or by hand as required.
- Replenish consumables like hand sanitiser and ticket machine roll paper.
- Report any damage, defects, or significant findings to the relevant supervisors.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company cleaning protocols.
- Manage and store cleaning supplies efficiently.
- Work as part of a team to ensure all vehicles are ready for service on time.
- Maintain a tidy and organised work area.
