Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Remote Price Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this 100% remote role, you will be responsible for collecting, comparing, and analyzing retail pricing data from various sources to identify market trends, competitor strategies, and pricing opportunities. Your insights will directly inform our pricing decisions, ensuring competitive positioning and value for our customers. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for data-driven decision-making in the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze pricing data from competitor websites, promotional materials, and market reports.
  • Monitor retail pricing strategies across key product categories.
  • Identify discrepancies, trends, and patterns in pricing data.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and presentations on pricing analysis and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, category management, and sales teams to provide data-backed insights.
  • Support the development and implementation of new pricing models and tools.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of all collected pricing data.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape within the retail sector.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in data analysis, particularly with retail or market data.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications
