Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting summer opportunity to work in a dynamic resort environment? Rooty Hill RSL Club is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Poolside Attendants to join our team for the upcoming summer season. This role is perfect for individuals eager to gain valuable experience, improve their customer service skills, and begin their journey towards becoming a qualified lifeguard. You’ll be crucial in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests at our state-of-the-art aquatic facilities. We offer comprehensive training and support for those interested in pursuing lifeguard certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor poolside areas to ensure guest safety and adherence to facility rules.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests with inquiries and needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck, changing rooms, and surrounding areas.
- Set up and pack down poolside equipment, including chairs, umbrellas, and towels.
- Assist with basic first aid when necessary and call for further assistance as required.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions, including lifeguard preparedness.
Required Skills
- Strong swimming ability and comfort in aquatic environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting.

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
