Job Description
We are seeking motivated and diligent Ginger Farm Labourers to join our vibrant team in Caboolture. This role offers high piece rates, ensuring that your hard work and efficiency are directly rewarded with competitive weekly pay. You will be responsible for various tasks essential to the cultivation and harvesting of ginger, working outdoors in a dynamic farm environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual labour tasks including planting, weeding, fertilizing, and general crop maintenance for ginger fields.
- Harvest ginger manually, ensuring careful handling to maintain product quality.
- Assist with sorting, packing, and preparing ginger for shipment.
- Operate basic farm machinery and tools under supervision, if trained.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and farm equipment.
- Adhere strictly to farm safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Work collaboratively with the farm management and other team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Report any issues with crops, equipment, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
