Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit Trenching Labourer to join our ongoing civil infrastructure projects in Goulburn. This full-time role involves assisting with various aspects of trenching, pipe-laying, and general labouring duties on construction sites. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for stable, long-term employment within the civil construction sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform trenching and excavation duties using hand tools and light machinery.
- Assist in the laying of pipes, conduits, and other underground infrastructure.
- Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct general site clean-up and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety procedures and protocols.
- Assist skilled tradespersons as required.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Preferred Qualifications
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Previous experience in a civil construction or labouring role.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience operating small plant equipment (e.g., compaction equipment, jackhammers).
- Confined Space Entry ticket.
