Job Description

Are you a highly energetic individual looking for a dynamic role with immediate impact and weekly pay? Harry the hirer is seeking enthusiastic Tent & Marquee Installers to join our thriving team in Parramatta. This is a hands-on position crucial to the success of countless events across New South Wales. You’ll be part of a team responsible for the safe and efficient installation and dismantling of our premium marquees and event structures. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently erect and dismantle various types of marquees and temporary structures following company guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Load and unload equipment and materials, ensuring proper handling and care.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality installations.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools as required for installation tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work site.
  • Adhere to all WHS (Work Health and Safety) regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pre- and post-event checks on equipment to ensure functionality and report any damages.
  • Represent Harry the hirer professionally on site.

Required Skills

  • High level of physical fitness and stamina, capable of heavy lifting and manual labour.
  • Strong work ethic and a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to showing up on time.
  • Basic understanding of tools and construction principles.
  • Commitment to safety and following instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in event setup, construction, or a similar physically demanding role.
  • Current Australian Driver's License (manual preferred).
  • Forklift license (LF) or EWP ticket (advantageous but not essential).
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card).
