Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-time Storeman to join our dynamic logistics team in Wetherill Park. This role involves assisting with the efficient movement and storage of goods within our warehouse facility during day shifts. You will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations, accurate inventory management, and timely dispatch. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and are looking for a flexible part-time opportunity, we encourage you to apply. Experience in a logistics or warehouse environment is preferred but not essential for candidates demonstrating enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods accurately and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if licensed) and pallet jacks safely and proficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational targets are met.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving items.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or storeman role.
- Forklift license (LF class) is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Current driver's license.
