Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Industrial Packer to join our dynamic team in Campbellfield. This full-time position offers a stable Monday to Friday schedule with top pay for the right candidate. You will be responsible for accurately and safely packing various goods for shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards and are prepared for distribution. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, requiring attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack products into appropriate containers or packaging materials following established procedures.
- Inspect products for quality defects before packing and report any issues.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipping.
- Operate basic packing machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 20kg regularly.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a warehouse/industrial setting.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a packing, warehousing, or manufacturing role.
- Forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience with various packing materials and techniques.
