Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Car Detailer to join our bustling dealership in Palmerston, NT. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for making vehicles shine. You will be responsible for preparing new and used vehicles to the highest showroom standards, ensuring every car presented to our customers reflects the quality and prestige of the Bridge Auto Group. This role offers stable, ongoing work within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of new and used vehicles, inside and out.
- Wash, wax, buff, and polish vehicle exteriors to a high standard.
- Vacuum, shampoo, and detail vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, and dashboards.
- Apply protective coatings and treatments to vehicle surfaces.
- Inspect vehicles for imperfections and perform minor touch-ups as required.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and dealership policies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in car detailing, preferably within a dealership setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Knowledge of various cleaning products, tools, and techniques.
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
- Excellent time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate or vocational training in automotive detailing.
- Experience with ceramic coatings and paint correction.
- Familiarity with various car brands and models.
- Ability to operate a range of detailing equipment, including orbital polishers and extractors.
