Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Processing Clerks to join our team for a seasonal high-demand period. In this crucial temporary role, you will be responsible for accurately processing a high volume of tax-related information, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to the efficient operation of our processing centres. This position is vital to our mission, particularly during peak tax seasons, and requires a strong commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork. You will work within a structured environment, utilising various internal systems and adhering to strict guidelines to handle sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and verify data from various sources into ATO systems.
  • Process tax returns, declarations, and other financial documents.
  • Perform data quality checks to identify and correct errors.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all data security protocols.
  • Organise and manage physical and electronic records efficiently.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily processing targets.
  • Identify and escalate complex data issues or discrepancies to appropriate personnel.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
  • Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Preferred Qualifications
