Job Description

You will be the first point of contact for the public, providing essential information, assistance, and support for non-urgent police matters. This role operates Monday to Friday, providing a stable and structured work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to non-urgent police assistance calls from the public with empathy and professionalism.
- Accurately record incident details and disseminate information to relevant police units or services.
- Provide clear, concise, and accurate information regarding police procedures, services, and general inquiries.
- Manage a high volume of calls efficiently while maintaining quality service standards.
- Utilize various computer systems and databases to log information and access relevant resources.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other QPS departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all QPS policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment.
