Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Conveyancing Paralegal with a strong focus on real estate matters to join our dynamic team in Dalby. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to manage a diverse caseload of residential, commercial, and rural conveyancing transactions, working closely with our experienced solicitors and directly with clients. The role demands exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach, and a deep understanding of Queensland conveyancing law. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full range of conveyancing transactions from instruction to settlement, including residential, commercial, and rural properties.
- Draft and review contracts, transfer documents, and other legal instruments.
- Conduct property searches and title investigations.
- Liaise extensively with clients, real estate agents, financial institutions, and other parties involved in transactions.
- Prepare settlement statements and calculate adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and firm policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and records.
- Assist solicitors with complex property law matters and litigation support where required.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal in Queensland.
- Sound knowledge of Queensland conveyancing law and practice.
- Proficiency in conveyancing software (e.g., PEXA, LLO) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal qualification in paralegal studies or conveyancing.
- Experience with rural property transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships.
- Familiarity with LEAP legal software.
