Job Description

As an Investor Relations Assistant at Macquarie Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Investor Relations team’s efforts to maintain transparent and effective communication with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the financial markets and corporate communication strategies within a leading global financial institution. You will assist in the preparation of investor materials, manage inquiries, and contribute to the overall investor relations strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of investor presentations, financial reports, press releases, and other investor communications.
  • Manage investor and analyst inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Coordinate logistics for investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, and earnings calls.
  • Maintain and update the investor relations database and contact management system.
  • Monitor market sentiment, competitor activities, and financial news relevant to Macquarie Group.
  • Support the Investor Relations team with ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as required.
  • Conduct research and compile data to support investor messaging and market analysis.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of financial markets and corporate finance principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Prior internship or work experience in investor relations, finance, or corporate communications.
  • Familiarity with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
