Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Caravan Park Assistants for regional summer work at our Grafton location. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the tourism and hospitality sector, providing essential support to ensure our guests have a fantastic holiday. You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks, from guest services to maintaining the park’s pristine appearance, all while enjoying the beautiful summer environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, providing a friendly and efficient service.
  • Handle guest inquiries, provide local information, and resolve minor issues promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular inspections of park facilities, cabins, and common areas, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks such as tidying grounds, emptying bins, and basic amenity checks.
  • Assist with the setup and pack-down of recreational activities and events within the park.
  • Ensure compliance with park rules and safety regulations, promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
  • Operate reservation software and point-of-sale systems accurately.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative.
  • Reliability and flexibility to work across varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Basic computer literacy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or a customer-facing role.
  • Current First Aid certification.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License.
  • Local knowledge of the Grafton region and surrounding attractions.
