Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and empathetic National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Admin Support professional to join our team in Mandurah. This crucial role provides essential administrative assistance to our NDIS participants and support coordinators, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services. You will be the first point of contact for many, providing vital information, managing schedules, and maintaining accurate records within the NDIS framework. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to NDIS participants and support coordination teams.
  • Manage participant enquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and directing calls appropriately.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new NDIS participants, including documentation and system setup.
  • Maintain and update participant records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with NDIS guidelines and privacy regulations.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events for NDIS participants and staff.
  • Prepare, format, and distribute NDIS-related documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Assist with invoicing, expense tracking, and other financial administration tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and participant satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all relevant NDIS policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Support general office administration duties to maintain an efficient working environment.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative support role, preferably within the healthcare, community, or disability sector.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) framework and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client-service focus.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact empathetically with diverse individuals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Community Services, or a related field.
  • Experience with NDIS specific software or client management systems.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.
