Job Description
We are looking for dedicated and reliable Bus Cleaners to join our night shift team in Port Augusta. This is a full-time position offering a stable income for individuals committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness for our fleet. As a Bus Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our buses are presentable, hygienic, and ready for service each day, contributing directly to a positive experience for our passengers and upholding our company’s reputation for quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of bus interiors, including floors, seats, windows, and driver's cabins.
- Empty and sanitise waste bins.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces to ensure passenger safety.
- Wash bus exteriors using automated equipment or manual methods as required.
- Replenish supplies such as hand sanitiser and information leaflets.
- Report any damage or maintenance issues identified during cleaning to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company cleaning protocols.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for night shift operations.
- Basic understanding of cleaning products and equipment safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or industrial cleaning role.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning.
- Valid Australian Driver's License (Class C or higher).
