Job Description

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for individuals with no prior experience in plumbing, but who possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a desire for long-term career development. You will work alongside experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on knowledge and practical skills that will set you on a path to becoming a qualified tradesperson. Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified plumbers with a variety of tasks on residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from work areas.
- Prepare work sites by setting up safety barriers and clearing debris.
- Perform general site clean-up and organisation.
- Dig trenches and backfill, where required.
- Help with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring they are clean and stored properly.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Learn and adhere to plumbing codes and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Required Skills
- Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures or willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Punctual and dependable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence (manual highly regarded).
- Construction Induction White Card (or willingness to obtain before commencing).
- Previous experience in a manual labour role (advantageous but not required).
