Job Description
Join Elders Ltd as a Wool Presser Assistant and become a vital part of Australia’s iconic wool industry. This full-time, on-site position in Campbellfield, VIC offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in traditional Australian work, learning the essential skills of wool handling and processing. We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit individual eager to contribute to the efficient and high-quality preparation of Australian wool.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Wool Presser in all aspects of wool pressing, including filling and operating the press, and emptying pressed bales.
- Perform careful skirting and rolling of fleeces to meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shearing shed environment.
- Accurately weigh, brand, and stack wool bales.
- Undertake general shed hand duties as required to support shearing operations.
- Adhere strictly to all workplace health and safety protocols.
