Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Wool Presser in all aspects of wool pressing, including filling and operating the press, and emptying pressed bales.
  • Perform careful skirting and rolling of fleeces to meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shearing shed environment.
  • Accurately weigh, brand, and stack wool bales.
  • Undertake general shed hand duties as required to support shearing operations.
  • Adhere strictly to all workplace health and safety protocols.
