Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Window Shutter Labourer to join our growing team in Launceston. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for ongoing, full-time work with weekly pay in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Labourer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and manufacturing processes of our premium window shutters, ensuring quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced installers with the fitting and installation of window shutters on various sites.
  • Prepare work areas, including unloading materials, setting up tools, and ensuring a safe environment.
  • Perform general labouring tasks such as measuring, cutting, drilling, and cleaning.
  • Help with the fabrication and assembly of shutter components in our workshop.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure cleanliness of work areas.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying materials.
  • Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
  • Basic understanding of power tools and hand tools (or willingness to learn rapidly).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Australian driver's license and reliable transport.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a labouring, construction, or manufacturing role.
  • First Aid certification.
  • White Card (General Construction Induction card).
