Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Virtual Loan Processing Officer to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of various loan applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will play a critical role in supporting our customers through their lending journey, providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of integrity. Key Responsibilities
- Process various loan applications, including home loans, personal loans, and business loans, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Conduct thorough verification checks and due diligence in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with customers, credit assessors, and other stakeholders to gather information and resolve queries promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the loan management system.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations, internal policies, and responsible lending guidelines.
- Identify and escalate complex issues or potential risks to appropriate senior staff.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for loan processing workflows.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the loan application process.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan processing, administration, or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of loan products, processes, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NCCP).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document review.
- Proficiency in using banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of tasks in a virtual environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or a related field.
