Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Vacation Intern with a keen interest in Project Management to join our team in Gosford. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic environment, working alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects. You will support various stages of project lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and closing, enhancing your understanding of large-scale construction and property development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers and Coordinators with day-to-day project tasks and administrative duties.
- Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Conduct research and compile data to aid in project decision-making and reporting.
- Participate in project meetings, taking minutes and tracking action items.
- Help monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and suggest solutions.
- Collaborate with various internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and project specifications.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program related to Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or Business.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated interest in project management and the property/construction industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or work experience in a related field.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
