Job Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and curious Junior UX Researcher to join our product-focused team in Geraldton. You will work closely with senior researchers, product managers, designers, and engineers, contributing to research activities that shape the future of our digital banking products. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing various UX research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and diary studies.
  • Help analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for product enhancement.
  • Contribute to the creation of research plans, discussion guides, and recruitment screeners.
  • Support the documentation and communication of research findings through reports, presentations, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure research insights are integrated into the product development lifecycle.
  • Maintain research participant databases and help manage research logistics.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of UX research principles and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn about user behavior and product design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field.
  • Experience with UX research tools (e.g., Qualtrics, UserTesting, Figma, Miro).
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • A portfolio demonstrating academic projects or internships related to UX research or design.
