Job Description
Are you looking for an active, outdoor role where you can contribute to a great customer experience and stay fit at the same time? Woolworths is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Trolley Collectors to join our team in Port Lincoln. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our car park and store are tidy, well-organised, and that trolleys are readily available for our customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, doesn’t mind physical activity, and wants to be part of a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting shopping trolleys from various areas of the car park and surrounding premises.
- Returning trolleys efficiently and safely to designated bays and store entrances.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of trolley bays and car park areas.
- Assisting customers with trolley queries or needs.
- Adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Working effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth store operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good physical stamina and ability to walk, push, and lift frequently.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to safety.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or outdoor role is a plus but not essential.
- Valid driver's license (desirable for moving trolley trains, but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with the Port Lincoln area.
