Job Description

Are you passionate about travel and helping others explore the world? Flight Centre Travel Group is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Travel & Tourism Support Agent. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position where you will provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients, ensuring their travel experiences are smooth and enjoyable. If you have a knack for problem-solving, a friendly demeanor, and a desire to work in the dynamic travel industry, we want to hear from you! Bonus incentives are available based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding bookings, changes, and general travel information.
  • Assist customers with pre-travel requirements, including visa information, health guidelines, and destination specifics.
  • Resolve travel-related issues, complaints, and emergencies efficiently and professionally.
  • Process booking modifications, cancellations, and refunds in accordance with company policies and airline/supplier terms.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on travel products, services, and promotions.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service delivery.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Adhere to all company guidelines and industry regulations.

Required Skills

  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a call center or remote environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and navigating multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • High-speed internet access and a dedicated, quiet home workspace.
  • Enthusiasm for travel and tourism.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
  • Knowledge of international travel regulations and common destinations.
  • Experience with CRM software.
