Job Description

Are you passionate about travel and possess exceptional customer service skills? Flight Centre Travel Group is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our remote team as Travel & Tourism Support Agents. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing essential support and guidance for their travel inquiries, bookings, and post-booking needs. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to a world-leading travel company. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and professional support to customers via phone, email, and chat regarding travel bookings, itineraries, and general inquiries.
  • Assist customers with modifications, cancellations, and re-bookings in accordance with company policies and airline/supplier terms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to travel disruptions, technical problems, and service complaints efficiently.
  • Educate customers on travel policies, visa requirements, and destination-specific information.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and operations, to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Stay updated with current travel trends, industry news, and company product offerings.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, call center, or a related support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and comfortable with learning new software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated quiet workspace.
  • A genuine passion for travel and tourism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the travel industry (e.g., travel agent, airline support, hotel reservations).
  • Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Ability to speak additional languages.
