Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Stock Controller Assistant to join our team in Gympie. This is a full-time position offering comprehensive training from day one, ideal for individuals looking to start a career in retail logistics and stock management. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our store shelves are well-stocked, products are organised, and inventory records are accurate. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organising incoming stock deliveries.
- Perform regular stocktakes and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems.
- Ensure products are stored safely and efficiently in designated areas.
- Rotate stock to minimise waste and ensure product freshness.
- Assist in preparing stock for display on sales floors.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Support the stock control team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proactive and eager to learn new processes and systems.

Preferred Qualifications
