Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Stock Controller Assistant to join our team in Gympie. This is a full-time position offering comprehensive training from day one, ideal for individuals looking to start a career in retail logistics and stock management. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our store shelves are well-stocked, products are organised, and inventory records are accurate. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organising incoming stock deliveries.
  • Perform regular stocktakes and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems.
  • Ensure products are stored safely and efficiently in designated areas.
  • Rotate stock to minimise waste and ensure product freshness.
  • Assist in preparing stock for display on sales floors.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
  • Support the stock control team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
