Job Description
Are you passionate about live events and looking to kickstart your career in the entertainment industry? Live Nation Australia is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Entry Level Stagehands in Blacktown, NSW. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training! This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the ropes of stage production, event setup, and technical operations from industry professionals. If you’re physically fit, a quick learner, and eager to contribute to memorable live shows, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of stages, sets, and props for various events.
- Load and unload equipment, including sound, lighting, and video gear.
- Follow instructions from stage managers and technical supervisors meticulously.
- Ensure all equipment is handled safely and stored properly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment backstage.
- Perform general manual labor tasks as required to support event production.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 25kg) regularly.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- A basic understanding of tools and manual labor is a plus, but not required.
- Previous experience in a physically demanding role (e.g., warehousing, construction) is beneficial.
- Current driver's license and reliable transport.
- First Aid certification is a bonus.
