Job Description
Are you seeking a physically engaging role with a high hourly rate, working outdoors and contributing to renewable energy? Solahart is looking for a dedicated Solar Cleaning Labourer to join our Taree team. This role primarily involves roof work to professionally clean and maintain solar panels for residential and commercial clients. You will be instrumental in ensuring optimal performance of solar energy systems and upholding Solahart’s reputation for excellence. We value safety, efficiency, and a strong work ethic. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely accessing roofs and working at heights to clean solar panels.
- Using specialized equipment and eco-friendly cleaning solutions to remove dirt, grime, and debris from solar arrays.
- Conducting visual inspections of solar panels for damage or defects during cleaning.
- Adhering strictly to all Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and company safety protocols.
- Maintaining equipment and tools in excellent working condition.
- Providing clear and professional communication with team members and clients.
- Working efficiently and meticulously to ensure high-quality results.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting and climbing.
- Comfortable working at heights on various roof types.
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in roof work, outdoor labour, or solar panel cleaning is a plus but not essential.
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Working at Heights certification.
- Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport.
- Basic understanding of solar energy systems.
