Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team, focusing on high-rise residential projects in Perth. This is an immediate hire opportunity for a professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses a strong commitment to quality, safety, and project delivery. The successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing daily site operations, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of workmanship. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain excellent communication and uphold Multiplex’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for high-rise residential projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Implement and enforce site safety plans, conducting regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to optimize workflow.
- Monitor progress against the construction program, identifying and resolving potential delays.
- Oversee the quality of work performed, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with specifications and drawings.
- Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and plant/equipment utilization.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, maintaining accurate site records.
- Act as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders regarding site-specific issues.
- Mentor and support junior site staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor on high-rise residential projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate diverse teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Solid understanding of Australian building codes and regulations.
- Valid driver's license and White Card (Construction Induction Card).
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade qualification in a construction-related field or tertiary qualification in Construction Management.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Aconex, Procore).
- Familiarity with environmental management practices on construction sites.
