Job Description
Join Lendlease as an Entry Level Site Marshall and kickstart your career in construction safety! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about maintaining safe work environments, even without prior experience. You will play a crucial role in ensuring site safety protocols are followed, assisting in traffic management, and supporting the site management team. We provide comprehensive training and mentorship to help you grow in this vital role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of site safety plans and procedures.
- Conduct site inductions for new personnel and visitors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage and direct site traffic, including vehicles and pedestrians, to ensure safe movement.
- Inspect work areas for potential hazards and report findings to the Site Supervisor.
- Assist with incident response and emergency procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate records of site visitors, deliveries, and safety checks.
- Promote a positive safety culture among all site personnel.
- Support the Site Management team with general administrative and operational tasks related to safety.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Proactive attitude towards safety and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Current driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction Induction Card (White Card) – can be obtained upon commencement.
- First Aid certification.
- Previous experience in a role requiring adherence to strict protocols.
