Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Security Integration Lead to spearhead our advanced alarm system projects within the Western Australian market. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and commissioning of complex integrated security alarm solutions. This role demands a deep technical understanding of modern alarm technologies, excellent project leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable security systems. You will work closely with clients, sales teams, and technical staff to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of security and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, engineering, and implementation of advanced security alarm systems, including intrusion detection, perimeter protection, and integrated solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive site surveys and needs assessments to develop tailored security solutions for clients.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to installation and service teams.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including system specifications, schematics, and commissioning reports.
  • Ensure all installations comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to define technical requirements and prepare proposals for complex projects.
  • Stay updated with emerging security technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge to enhance our offerings.
  • Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of integrated systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide post-installation support and troubleshoot complex technical issues as required.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in security system integration, specifically with advanced alarm systems.
  • Proven expertise in designing, installing, and commissioning enterprise-level intrusion detection systems.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, IP cameras, access control systems, and their integration with alarm platforms.
  • Proficiency with major alarm system brands (e.g., Honeywell, Bosch, DSC, Inner Range).
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ASIAL, PECB, manufacturer-specific certifications).
  • Experience with fire alarm systems and their integration.
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience with CAD software for system design.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
