Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Seafood Processing Hand to join our team in Penrith. This role involves working within a chilled environment to process a variety of seafood products, ensuring the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency. You will be an integral part of our production line, contributing to the preparation and packaging of fresh and frozen seafood. Key Responsibilities
- Perform various seafood processing tasks including sorting, gutting, filleting, trimming, and packaging.
- Operate and maintain processing machinery and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, quality assurance, and hygiene standards (HACCP, GMP).
- Monitor product quality and identify any non-conforming products.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of seafood products and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring equipment is sanitised regularly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
