Job Description
Are you seeking a tranquil and fulfilling role in a beautiful rural setting? Elders Limited is looking for a dedicated and reliable Rural Property Caretaker Assistant to join our team in Innisfail, Queensland. This role is perfect for someone who appreciates a quiet work environment and takes pride in maintaining properties to a high standard. You will be instrumental in the general upkeep and presentation of a designated rural property, working independently and collaboratively with occasional oversight. This is an on-site position that requires a strong work ethic and respect for the serene environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general grounds maintenance, including mowing, weeding, and minor landscaping tasks.
- Assist with light maintenance and repairs of fences, outbuildings, and equipment.
- Ensure the property remains tidy and free from debris.
- Monitor property security and report any unusual activities.
- Assist with basic animal husbandry tasks if required (e.g., feeding, checking water levels).
- Support senior caretakers with larger projects and operational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and supplies.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a quiet setting.
