Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and physically fit individuals to join our team as a Road Line Marking Offsider for night shifts in Horsham, Victoria. This is a vital role supporting our skilled operators in applying durable road markings that enhance road safety and traffic flow. If you thrive in a fast-paced outdoor environment, are reliable, and ready to contribute to essential infrastructure, this opportunity offers high pay and the chance to develop valuable skills within a respected industry leader. Experience is preferred, but we value a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist line marking operators with the setup and pack-down of equipment and materials.
- Perform manual labour tasks including loading, unloading, and positioning cones, signs, and other traffic management devices.
- Prepare road surfaces for line marking, including cleaning and minor repairs.
- Monitor paint and material levels, ensuring continuous operation.
- Adhere strictly to all site-specific safety plans, traffic management regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment and assist with equipment maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work consistently night shifts (typically Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday nights).
- Strong physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
- Excellent work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Basic understanding of workplace health and safety (OH&S) principles.
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport to and from site.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in civil construction, roadworks, or general labouring.
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Traffic Control or Implement Traffic Management tickets.
- Heavy Vehicle (HR/HC) Licence.
