Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Regional Farm Hands in Stanthorpe, Queensland. This temporary role is ideal for those looking to gain valuable experience in the agricultural sector, enjoy working outdoors, and contribute to the harvest season. This position is particularly suitable for individuals seeking to meet their 88-day regional work requirement for Australian visa extensions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various tasks related to fruit and vegetable harvesting, including picking, packing, and sorting.
  • Assist with crop maintenance, including pruning, weeding, and irrigation as required.
  • Operate basic farm machinery and equipment under supervision (training provided where necessary).
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment in the fields and packing sheds.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and quality standards and procedures.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
  • Potentially assist with planting and general farm labour outside of harvest, depending on farm needs.

Required Skills

  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
