Job Description

Join the Queensland Police Service as a Police Assistance Line Operator and become an integral part of our frontline service delivery. This role offers comprehensive professional training, ensuring you are fully equipped to handle a variety of non-urgent police enquiries. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound non-emergency calls from the public with professionalism and empathy.
  • Accurately record incident details and caller information into QPS systems.
  • Provide information and advice on police procedures, services, and local resources.
  • Triage calls and escalate urgent matters to appropriate police units as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all QPS policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Participate actively in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
