Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and dedicated Passport Production Officer to join our secure facility in Orlando, Florida. In this critical on-site role, you will be responsible for the precise and secure production of sensitive documents, adhering to stringent governmental and international security standards. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong understanding of security protocols, and the ability to operate within a classified environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in safeguarding the integrity of official travel documents, contributing directly to national security. Experience in high-security manufacturing, printing, or document verification is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment for the production and personalization of passports and other secure identification documents.
- Perform quality control checks at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with strict specifications and security features.
- Monitor inventory of secure materials, ensuring accurate tracking and proper storage in accordance with security protocols.
- Adhere strictly to all security policies, procedures, and regulations governing the handling of sensitive materials and classified information.
- Document production activities, anomalies, and maintenance logs meticulously.
- Collaborate with security personnel to report and investigate any security incidents or discrepancies.
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs related to secure document production and new technologies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the high-security production area.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and security.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a production, manufacturing, or operations role, preferably in a high-security or regulated environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to precision and accuracy.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and adhere to strict procedural guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve production issues.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if required).
- High level of integrity and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline.
- Experience with secure printing technologies or document personalization systems.
