Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Passport Office Assistant in Port Lincoln. In this federal government role, your primary responsibility will be to process passport applications with exceptional accuracy, ensuring compliance with all national regulations and procedures. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent data entry skills, and the ability to handle sensitive personal information confidentially. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of Australia’s passport system and providing essential services to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new passport applications and renewals, verifying all submitted documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform data entry with an emphasis on high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conduct identity verification and ensure compliance with all national passport regulations.
- Assist applicants with queries regarding passport requirements, application status, and general information.
- Handle sensitive personal information with strict confidentiality and discretion.
