Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Packaging Hands to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced factory environment in Campbelltown, NSW. This role involves working as part of a production line, ensuring our high-quality products are packaged efficiently and accurately for distribution. If you thrive in a team setting, have a keen eye for detail, and are looking for stable employment with weekly pay, we encourage you to apply. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect products for quality defects before packaging.
- Load products into packaging machines or pack manually as required.
- Label and stack packaged products onto pallets.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Monitor production flow and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Forklift license (preferred but not essential).
- Understanding of HACCP or food safety principles.
